Alo2 is a sculptural oxygen producer that provides astronauts with increased euphoria through the oxygenation of a room.

The Spirulina algae grows and develops inside the large columns. As it grows, increased oxygen enters the room. At full term the algae can be collected and consumed from its unique harvesting filter inside the lowest apparatus.

Alo2 will provide astronauts with a simulated
experience of nature.

The dual functionality of the LEDs in the vertical pillars illuminate the room and supports the photosynthesis of the algae. The lighting creates a sense of relief as the environment is kindled with the glow of light and visual stimulation.

The balls inside are made from stainless steel their magnetic properties will enable them to mix gently the algae.
