Lunax is a rocking chair designed to enhance astronauts’ wellbeing on Moon by using light.

It is designed to be placed in Moon Village to carry out the pre-breathing (breathing pure oxygen) procedure which is necessary to be done before spacewalks. The capsule makes this procedure more comfortable thanks to the massaging cushions and relaxing environment designed as a Space Spa. Lunax contains spirulina algae that contributes to the experience with its green color and high nutritional values.

Welcoming moonwalks with tranquillity

To avoid anxiety before the important moonwalks, Lunax uses low gravity’s advantage to provide a gentle rocking motion while also offering a comprehensive experience with a transparent ceiling.

The spirulina liquid is stirred by the help of rocking motion, and it creates a pleasing effect of light which is necessary for cultivation.
