Moonkit is designed to start up the cultivation of spirulina on the moon.

It provides tools for the care, extraction, consumption and conservation of spirulina, taking into account the reduced gravity environment.
The kit alone is thought out to integrate the diet of 2 astronauts for 6 months and can be of vital importance in emergency situations.

It has everything you need in a reduced package.

The kit contains a photobioreactor, a nutrient dispenser and a living spirulina culture to start the cultivation. It comes also with a dipper, an extraction pot, 2 cups, 2 sets of cutlery and 2 ice trays.

All objects are optimised for additive manufacturing and the prototypes have been 3d printed in PLA and resin.

Generative design, additive manufacturing and lunar regolith bioceramic come together for a sustainable, efficient and recyclable product.

The Lunar Regolith needs to be decontaminated before use and could be mixed with 1/3 of bio-polymers for better resistance and a softer touch and feel.
